Having problem to check in "Places" on facebook from my Captivate Phone
 

Hi to all phone experts

I got a Rogers Captivate phone lately. Everything works out well except when I go to Facebook (Facebook for Android was installed), then go to Places and then Check In, once I pick a place, it take forever to download info at the Activity tab.

Please kindly let me know how to fix this problem.

i think you have to turn the option on in the facebook settings somewhere

Your phone isn't broken. It's the app.

Places only seems to work with wifi.

^I'd have to agree, the Facebook Android app is poorly supported. Unfortunate for us.
