Unofficial Gold Medal Celebration

I heard on the news today that people on facebook created a group to celebrate Gold Medal this coming Saturday Feb/26 in downtown.

Anybody has any detail on this?

I would like to know if I will have to re-route since I'm going to a friend's place on Granville st and gonna try to park my car away from the crowd.
