There was a more indepth one awhile back on discoveryHD....pretty cool.

Wow, deceiving.. it shows that the 5.5L engine debuted in 2001, and the picture is of the SL55, which only debuted in 2003

Meh. They didn't even mention the 70-90s AMG development. What about the Hammer?

Yeah, I was expecting to see something about the Hammer and the Baby Hammer....

they made SL55's in 2001, but they were selling them as 2003's already

someone already has.....There was a loop hole...its kicking around toronto...and I believe theres one in calgary aswell....both appear to be white..:fullofwin:

The owner has them over "temporarily" I believe he can work in both the U.S. and Canada or something like that and brought it up...

It was a ***** to get mine over the border.. I have a full-post earlier on describing how I got it over... Basically, i had to get it plated in the states, and i got it shipped over in the back of a truck.. I initially tried over the Buffalo border to get it past, but they're like no way..
