I'm trying to diagnose whats causing a check engine light on a 93 integra. I exposed the ecu to see what code it was throwing but there is no flashing red light. Does this mean I need to get the car scanned?

Are you sure you're jumping the right plug? On some hondas the plug to check cel's is behind the center console.
