How do i correct the "circle w/ red X) on my iPod classic 120gb?
I'm hoping i don't have to spend any money to fix my ipod, it shows this. I have tryed the thing to switch into disk mode, has not worked! iTunes will not recognize it so far.

Was this due to a drop? When you turn it on, and put your ear against it, can you hear the hard drive spinning?
