What's wrong with FTP sites? I'm on 2 of them from my MIRC days. I prefer scene rips over rips on torrent sites. :fuckyea:

Ever thought of giving Usenet a try?

Usenet - if you can afford to blow $10 a month, you will never look back at torrents or ftp again.

I've heard of Usenet but don't know much about it. The current FTP's im on don't pay for at all. But wouldnt mind looking into Usenet

I just use the shaw newsgroups which max out at a paltry 5mbps

I pay for Giganews, since that's how I watch ALL my TV. Totally worth being able to download at full capacity. For me it used to be 30 Mbps but now it's just 8 :okay:

what are you settings for 5? i usually get only 500kbps..

i've been using usenet for +3 years and am quite pleased with it

i pay about $8/month and i think it's totally worth it in terms of downloading speeds

i first learned how to try usenet through gizmodo

Yea I have it set to use 5 connections, I see it says 611 kbps on your picture. That's pretty much what I've been getting. I thought you meant 5mbps though.

611KB/s is not the same as 611kbps.

611KB/s is 4.8mbps

I read this guide years ago, and though they've made many changes ever since, it was really helpful for me to learn about usenet/newsgroups.

BTW, private torrent sites is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard of. That, and paying for a "seed box" :fuckthatshit::fuckthatshit::fuckthatshit: BT kids trying to make their junk all elitist.
