I'm a chronically cheap person. I am also a chronically hungry person. I'd like to start a thread whereby people post weekly specials or recurring deals (like happy hour, for example) so we can all indulge - without breaking the bank! POST AWAY, I'M HUNGRAY!

For example:

Tuesdays: Sanafir - 50% off entire menu

Wednesdays: Milestones - Dinner for 2 for $50 ("Date Night") - 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 1 dessert

Sundays: Yaletown Brewing Co - $8 pizza and $4.50 beer

YAY FOOD

Thursday Flying Beaver Steak and Shrimp for like $8 or something cheap.

Can't go wrong with whopper wedesnday

Lunch specials every day, like 4.95 when you buy a drink? Means getting the burger special is cheaper than going to mcdonalds and infinitely better.

richmond yaohan after hours are a great deal. seriously, if u live alone, that can easily be ur breakfast the next morning.

The academic on broadway.. went there for the first time two weeks ago..

Wings and a pint for 6 bucks !!! what a steal... (1 lb wings. .and they said it was only for the hot wings).... or else... it's 5 bucks for 1 lbs of wings any flavour

China Glazed on Kingsway has 2 items plus rice or noodles for $4.00 on Tuesdays.

Definitely meh, but if your hungry and cheap....

there's a greek resteraunt on hastings called tsiolas (sp?) they have 2 for 20 dollar dinner specials everyday. and it was was quite good for the price! beats waiting in line for stephos downtown plus the server was cute!
