Can I use my Starbucks card got locally in Vancouver in US ??

Yes as long as the location is Starbucks owned.

For example, in Las Vegas, I was unable to use my Starbucks card at certain locations in some hotels, because they were franchises or something like that.

Otherwise, it should work everywhere else.

^Some privately-owned locations MAY take your card, but it's not guaranteed.

I'm not sure about that, but I tried using my startbucks card in LA and the payment just couldn't go through for some reason. I guess it would only work within Canada, but yeah...it's just my guess.

Do they settle the payment being 1:1 USD/CAD? Or what?
