It's a trial. BTW, does anyone know how the Shaw gigabit Internet trial went? They were planning it way back in 2010, but I never bothered to follow it.

I would much rather pay google what I am currently pay for cheapass shaw to get better internet service.

For the free one u have to pay for the installation fee which is about 300 dollars but I think is 5 or 7 years free Internet.

It would take at least 10years or more to get to Canada and I doubt The goggle TV package will be in Canada since CRTC put a lot of restriction on boardcasting limitations in Canada. One of the reasons why Netflix Canada sucks so bad compare to Netflix US...

You'll have to pay $300 of installation fee for the Gigtabit Internet eventually too.
