Chivalry: Medieval Warfare
 

I was watching an episode of Node this afternoon on youtube and they were playing this game called Chivalry: Medieval Warfare. This is basically a 1st person/3rd person melee game! Tried it out, pretty hard at first but once you get use to the controls it reminded me of Jedi Knights.

I've been playing this for quite a while, since it was a free Source mod.

Loving the new game. I usually play as Vanguard (Medium armour, Heavy weapon) and use a Zweihander (largest/slowest sword)

There are 4 classes:
Archer: Bow, crossbow, javelin, very light armour (shooter, probably requires most skill)
Man of arms: 1h sword, 1h mace, 1h axe, light shields, light armour, can dodge
Vanguard: 2h sword, 2h polearms, 2h spear, medium armour, can charge attack
Knight: 1h/2h sword, 1h/2h mace, 1h/2h axe, heavy shields, heaviest armour (slowest)

So far my fav right now is the knight with the axe/hammer and a tall shield. Chopping off people's heads with one clean swipe is very satisfying.
