The funny thing about article is every culture and race try's to act and dress that way. Shit I'm white and no question I was rocking Phat Farm, FUBU and WU Wear back in the 90's. You have to look really hard to find remnants of b-style in Japan these days.

That said, unlike the West, fashion doesn't necessarily represent personality, values, or beliefs in Japan. It's very superficial, hence the reason its so extreme.
