I hear you guys bitch and gripe about MSG.

Who here thinks it's a bad thing?

Even if I say I hate it I won't be able to do shit bout it :lol, I'm vietnamese, our food somewhat depends on it

i agree with dlo although im not vietnamese, when you go out to get chinese food like number 9 the food taste a bit funny without the msg.

I think it's nasty and bad for your health
But I'd still eat eat whatever that tastes good regardless
It's kinda like how smokers know smokes can give them cancer/s but they smoke anyways.

When I went to Korea 2 years ago I had "pho" With no msg

It's like adding salt in food, you give it a another dimension. Put too much, you ruin it.

Put too much msg, your mouth dries up - 8 cups of water later, you still feel thirsty.

Prefer it not to be used, but like the others, only if and when used sparingly and in moderation.

This is an extreme opinion, but I don't believe MSG should ever be used. It's possible for food to taste good without it.
