Horne Lake Caves
 

Hello! I am heading to Parksville this weekend with some friends and we want to try out same cave tours at Horne Lake Caves.. I was just wondering if anyone has been there and if its worth the trip.

Do you plan on doing a guided tour, or self-guided?

If you go self-guided you can only get into the lower (small) & main (medium) caves. You can get through those caves in an hour, and will probably be a bit underwhelmed.

If you pay for a cave tour you can go into the riverbend cave, which is the biggest cave.
