where can I buy unsalted pistachios for cheap/bulk?

They have bulk ones at superstore, but they're salted... the unsalted ones come in these small packs that are hella expensive.

anyone have a clue where???

buy salted ones, rinse them in water... problem solved

Galloway's....on 6th Avenue at 7th Street in New West.

The one on Marine is not related and is more expensive products are pre packaged.

Yeah, I asked them (6th and 7th) what was up with that other Galloway's and they said they ripped the name off to steal clientele. I also heard that if you go to the one on Marine to watch out for mold...apparently they don't turn their bulk product enough :Puke:

New West Galloway's is such a small store but literally has EVERYTHING! I love it.

Indian grocery stores usually have unsalted peeled pistachios in bulk. They are usually pretty fresh as well.

I think they have it at Famous Foods on Kingsway and King Edward as well.

Is this for someone on heart medication? Because it would take a lot of salted pistachios at once for it to be an issue... Even eating half a pound (2 cups) in a sitting, you're getting about 4 slices of bacon worth of sodium

so i went to galloways...

i got 1kg of unsalted raw pistachios (no shell) for 39 bux after taxes.

it is cheaper than superstore which is like.. 500g for 10-12 bux? shelled... and roasted.

now.. my question is.. .is there anywhere CHEAPER lol.

I dont mind buying more if they require it.

You may be able to buy online for cheaper depending on s&h.

But consider how cheap their spices are, they might have pistachios for dirt cheap.

Don't you hate it when you're on your last bunch of pistachios and there the ones that are basically closed up tight? I almost smashed my tv remote trying to smash open a bunch pistachios the other night.
