cool i've been hoping for a sequel to cloverfield but this looks like it will suffice

after seeing pacific rim, i don't know how this is going to turn out.

I hope it takes a jab or two at the 1999 version.

i didn't realize the voiceover in the teaser was that of Oppenhemier from the Manhattan Project

it is directed by someone who's only done indies and the cast is full of nobodies with the exception of Ken Watanabe and Bryan Cranston.

it's supposed to be fairly authentic to the japanese versions so I hope it doesn't disappoint

I don't rmb the movie at all though .

They shot most of the giant CGI scenes right by Marine/Boundary.
