THERE ARE A LOT OF FAKE GALAXY S5's being sold all over Vancouver. They look IDENTICAL to the real thing. How do you tell?

1.) Go to the app S-Health, and run the heart rate monitor, which uses the back camera to measure your finger. On the REAL phone, it will glow BRIGHT RED against your finger tip. On the FAKE one, no light will light up, and even if you point the phone against the desk, it will randomly show different heart rate numbers.

2.) Use the camera, the fake one has a shitty ass camera. Very grainy etc.

3.) Download the app SPEEDTEST.net, and do a download test. The shitty one has a max download of like 3G speeds.

4.) Reboot the phone into recovery (hold Volume Down + Home + Power). In the fake one, it will reboot to a screen with all these chinese characters -- if you're chinese you will read that it says "fake" (faan baan), along with many other characters.

Don't get fucked over $450 like me. I was sold mine by a douche (short stocky white dude about 30) in a black Jeep YJ phone number 778 240-0660.
When inquiring about S5's straight up tell them you know how to tell between a fake and the real thing and tell them the above.
