Holes in Sweaters
The other day, I was pulling out my sweaters for fall/winter and noticed 2 of sweaters have holes in my sweater. Like 6-7 holes. I barely have worn these sweaters as I bought them last year and I know for sure I take care of my clothing.
Anyone else have such issue? Not sure if it's some bug(s) eating them, but I am super clean as I clean my closet and room every week. No other clothing seems to have such issue. |
Probably moths or carpet beetles.
Get some lavender |
start using moth balls
|
ive been puting holes in T shirts i wash by not zippering up the fly of jeans it seems..
|
Sounds like moths to me.

i had ths problem with a bad washer
clothes would get pinched between the drum and get small holes because of it |
I've never seen any "moths" in my closet or room.....
If it's moths/bugs, why only attack the sweaters and none of my "shirts" LOL It might be the washer when I wash my pants, other than that, can't think of any other reason. |
In my washing machine, I found a paperclip that got stuck in the drain holes of the drum... after it had ripped holes in 4 sweaters. It'd been there a few months.
|
the old fashion top loaders, sometimes they get caught between the spinner & bottom..and fuckin rips holes in your shirts...
|
if you haven't seen moths or larva, then its probably carpet beetles, they're tougher to spot
lavender, rosemary, cherry wood, moth balls, vacuum vacuum vacuum |
OP, mind if you share the holes?
