I see lots of the Hilux Surf's running around but not any trucks. I'm considering purchasing one of these but am wondering if anyone has any reviews on them, or if they can even be brought in. Must be some reason why I don't see any on the road here? I want a tough reliable truck that's gonna last me 10 years and I've had my eye on the 05+ Tacoma for a while but have been putting off purchasing one in hopes that a better or cheaper alternative becomes available. I'd really like to build up a later model Hilux but I guess we're stuck with the 15 year import rule

Mid-90's Hilux Surf's are selling in the $7000 range.
