But from past Nikon announcements, I don't see Nikon selling D700 replacement before their Dx flagship serie?

I mean, I am not saying D700 replacement won't be a 36mp monster, but I'd think Nikon would announce D4* or whatever flagship model before that.

I'm thinking sth like selling new flagship before year end/early 2012 and then by spring 2012 announce D700 replacement for some time before summer.
