Technically yes. I don't remember where it was, but I was at some apple repair place (not apple store) getting the lcd fixed. I remember asking the tech if there was anything they could do about my battery. He did some scan and pretty much ordered one. I don't know if it was for a recall or not, but all I know is I've been using it for 2.5 years and the only thing that seemed wrong was that it was diminished capacity.
