Goes to the organizers.
Over "3,000" attended last year in 2012:
Luxury Supercar Weekend Archives - Income Property, Real Estate Investment in Canada
They did a charity drive for people who wanted to donate, but the tickets go directly to the organizers.
Interesting to see how well this year's show did.
Spoiler!
Rough Estimates ONLY below:
----------------
Lets just say 5,000 came this time, up from 3,000 last year.
5,000 x $50 per ticket (not counting VIP and promo codes):
=
$250,000 from ticket sales
Sponsors?
There were around 52+ sponsors.
Not sure how much it cost to sponsor...
Lets just say $3,000 per sponsor on average.
$156,000 from sponsors
$406,000 total in revenue streams
----------------
1-Cost for catering and alcohol for VIP section:
Probably $35,000 to $50,000.
2-Event Staff of 30 paid + volunteers
$600 for 2 days x 30 = $18,000
3-Van Dusen Garden Rent for 2 days for the Garden
$12,000 per day at least x 2 = $24,000
4-Signs, tents, lighting equipment, technical/engineering crew
$25,000
Total cost: $117,000
-----------------
$406,000 - $117,000 = $289,000 profit.
This varies depending on how much the sponsors paid, and this is dependent on what tier the sponsors are (the largest to the smallest).
What do you guys think?
