I'm sure OP isn't an idiot and has taken various considerations before financing a car. For some, having that dream car is worth it. Like others have already said, salt corrosion is a big issue when purchasing cars from the east coast, especially when you aren't there to physically check out the vehicle. Hope you can find something decent closer by!
