I don't entirely agree with this.
I actually think the opposite, sex gives you an indication of where the relationship is going, can go, the connection you have, and connection you can achieve. What's more romantic than waking up next to someone who you've just spent the night with, and wanting to spend more time with them over breakfast/coffee/lunch in order to get to know them better.
I may be different. I may think different. But I guess it's just how I am.
