from what i've seen in Hong Kong, Filipinos are generally hired as their maid/house keeper for many families in Hong Kong. Hongers are quite racist with their white people nicknames of (gwai lo) and filipino nicknames of (ah bun).
(take this with a grain of salt, i'm not a true honger or representative of all hongers)
