^edit: Geez. Are you moving at all? Can you sleep in shifts, waking to warm the car periodically, in order to make the time pass a little easier?
Reading on reddit it sounds like a number of people are still stuck out there without supplies.
It's hard to believe we were enjoying a late summer with temperatures in the mid 20s just over a month ago. I could see that sudden shift in weather contributing in oart to a lack of preparedness. We didn't have an "atmospheric river" like last year, much less a sustained rainfall. For example, my red light crash mentioned above occured on that first day we had heavy rain after that late heat wave. Slick roads from oils/fluids accumulating, a bit of a relearning-curve to drive the conditions, and the chances for accidents increase.
