I understand that you have a girlfriend at the moment, so I guess you're trying to figure out whether or not she's marriage material?

You should ask yourself the following:
- Are you aligned on future goals? Children, entrepreneurship, building a nest egg, travel, location, etc.?
- Does her nagging annoy you now? (if it does, it will never get better)
- Are you sexually compatible? Have you finished playing the field?
- Can you at least tolerate her immediate family?
- Does she bring debt, or assets?
- Overall, does she add value to your life?

I've been married over 10 years and have two kids. We've had lots of ups and downs, but I think my wife has pushed me at key points in our marriage to be better than the person I was before we got married.
