What's the point you say?
It's to show the rest of the world what the USA is capable of,to let everyone know,not to fuck with them,fear them and meet their demands.
The NASA program is the biggest waste of money,it's proven itself that over & over again.

^^^ hahahah... well, remember why the states landed on the moon. besides exploration, the soviets had alredy landed/crashed a craft (luna 2 i think) and had started the whole space race off with sputnik. middle of the cold war, of course the states had to flex its muscles.

How closely is the water content to that on Earth? They might have the same origin but it's been few billions of years it might not be compatible to what we need? I'm sure we can purify it but still
