busy man, busy... had a kid 2 months ago. between that, school, f/t job and photo contracts, didn't have much time for RS or any other forums. honestly only came around today to try and sell my Sigma fisheye lens cuz i need the money. but since i'm here, why not stir the pot a little! LOL no seriously its reminding me its good to engage in these convo's now and again otherwise my photog'ing will become one-dimensional... and also to help share some knowledge, if anyone wants it LOL

The only time I use live view is when I go shooing with long lenses (400mm+). I find I can hit to focus spot when using manual focus and live view vs looking through the view finder and always "trust" it. I get sharper images this way. I know you can do micro adjustments for each specific lens, but I don't bother with that since I can just use the live view option.

I use live view on two occasions;
When there's no way to place my eye in the viewfinder and when I'm adjusting WB in some pretty shitty lighting conditions.
Other then that, it's not all that important.
