大阪市中央区東心斎橋の市道で２２日、会社員の藤川英士さん（３９）が車に引きずられ、意識不明の重体と なった事件で、南署は２５日、藤川さんが死亡したと発表した。
同署によると、殺人未遂容疑で逮捕した梅本淳一容疑者（４３）＝大阪府高槻市＝は「殺すつもりはなかった 」と供述しているというが、同署は殺人容疑も視野に入れて調べる。
Mr Fujikawa Eishi (british person lol), involved in a hit and run accident on the 22nd in Osaka Central area Shinsaibashi district, is announced dead today on the 25th.
According to the police, Umemoto Junichi (43), caught on the suspicion of attempted murder (Osaka Prefecture Takatsuki City), is now investigated as a manslaughter suspect. In his statement, he said he "did not mean to kill anybody".
