I disagree, you only expect that because it has become the norm. How about other premium items.. would you expect less reliability/durability with your premium home, furniture, appliances, electronics, music instruments, etc? No, of course not! Car manufacturers get away with it because many of their customers buy for status, not quality. I agree with you, just stating how sad it has become now that it is the norm.

i guess we all accept it as the norm now. I got a new dishwasher, and they said bosch isnt really reliable plus it cost more to fix than buy a new one. I still bout the bosch to match my kitchen. Plus its made in germany
but anyways, most premium stuff to generally cost more to fix. Premium items generally have a shorter warranty too.

I don't think that's true at all.
People expect their fancy european cars to massage their damn balls while in the drivers seat, warm their ass and wipe it too, and to be able to select from not one, not two, not three, but four different forms of massage while at the same time listening to a full symphony style concert rendering from the better than home equipment sound system run by a computer that is just a hair away from artificial intelligence.
Then complain that its unreliable.
That's just what I picked up on.
