I wouldn't recommend making rotors either because it could make them more prone since they are designed to be a certain thickness.
As per warping. This is from a member from a different forum who seems to be more familiar with how brakes work.

Depends, if you go with OEM expect to pay that much, but there are aftermarket rotors out there.
But depends on what the customer wants I guess.

Heck, OEM rotors for my Civic were $50 apiece from the states. And my last pair lasted for over a decade
