Canucks marketing department should make light of the situation on how often Miller turns the puck over and consider handing out “Miller’s Giveaway” prizes at home games 
3 games in a row now the Canucks blow a 2 or 3 goal lead.. history has proven that teams tighten up defensively as the season goes on but this is not good. It gives opposing teams the impression that they can come back no matter the score or the period.

Is management forcing Boudreau to play a certain 'structured' style? Seems like last year, they were a lot looser and had more success.

Miller and Petey were so casual in the offensive zone tonight.
I remember Miller making a couple of drop passes in Washington’s zone which resulted in turnovers.
Petey also made a drop pass that resulted in a turnover.
Miller’s game has been pretty bad so far this season. A turnover machine. His defensive play is just as bad.

Not making excuses for Boudreau but he’s an offensive minded coach and the team is scoring. It’s no big secret that the team’s defence has been somewhat lacking overall and they’re certainly proving that to be correct.
Unless they button that up and can start protecting leads, this team has no hope in the playoffs.. if they make it.

No urgency from any of our players… they play the exact same game and the exact same pace if they are winning, tied, or losing.

The defense is so bad....
a couple of those goals, the defense just lost track of their guy, and the Caps scored by slipping behind the D undetected and deflecting a slap pass.

The penalty kill is awful. A 50 percent rate for the PK is pretty much a coin flip for the opposing team to score a power play goal against the team.

^^ yup. At least Petey is earning his paycheck. Not like last season. Although looking at Boeser, his plus minus numbers are really horrible. He seems to be always in the negatives.
