Forward Phillip Di Giuseppe has been assigned to Abbotsford (AHL)
Forward Aatu Raty and defenceman Guillaume Brisebois have been recalled from Abbotsford and will join the main roster.

PDG has played 9 games already. If he plays one more he'll require waivers to be sent back down. It's the same reason Hoglander wasn't called back up together with Podkolzin. Season is lost, might as well see what you've got in your shiny new asset.

The First Nations jersey that Gino’s cousin Jay Odjick designed looks sick!
Much better looking than the Chinese New Uear jersey with the rabbit on a skate haha.
$750 for the jersey.
The Canucks are proud to partner with Jay Odjick, Gino’s cousin and Algonquin artist, to design a special First Nations Celebration warm-up jersey commemorating the event and Gino. The jersey will feature a Thunderbird crest in Algonquin design, representing the strong and powerful protector that Gino was, with a lightning bolt at its heart to symbolize Gino’s passion. The wings of the Thunderbird will include Coastal Salish design inspiration to honour the First Nations communities of Vancouver and the surrounding areas.
The jersey will also feature Medicine Wheel shoulder patches, which represent the interconnectedness and balance of all elements of life, with eight feathers to represent the eight seasons Gino played as a Canuck.
Proceeds from the sale of the First Nations Collection will go to Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations youth programs

How long have they had the boards during hockey broadcasts display changing ads? I've known about the technology involved, but never noticed it until this season. Ads on glass, as well.

Ya we all want the tank this season, but it’s nice to see there’s no quit in the boys.
Bitter sweet, I suppose.
Perhaps Bo leaving was the boost Petey needed to take over as the team’s de facto leader. His play recently seems to support the theory.

According to Tocchet’s post game interview, Petey’s efforts to win the game may have been a Faulk you to his new coach. I guess he was hard on EP40’s PP unit after the Blues’ short handed goal. Tocchet said Petey “shoved it up my butt” by being involved in all three goals to win the game. That’s real Tocchet.
He also said “which I like” after the butt comment. Canucks so progressive.
