I always go (believe it or not) to www.theweathernetwork.com select vancouver bc and they have an "activities" tab......there you can click on golf report. It shows all the golf courses - select the one you are interested in and then there is a link to the website that shows the course info including fees. There are quite a few give or take $50

May be a long way around it but I have trouble remembering all the courses names...so this helps me. Just an idea.....

I'm gonna be selling a Taylormade R7 driver soon here. Stiff shaft 10.5 degree loft. As well as a Callaway X 3-wood, also with a stiffy.
My reason for selling the driver is because of the loft. Where I play it gets windy, so I'm buying an 8.5 with a different type of stiff shaft.

I've already played around 10 rounds this year I love it.

Make sure your swingspeed is fast enough for an 8.5 though. I've seen a number of people playing and 8.5 but couldn't get enough ballflight and ended up hitting it significantly shorter than a higher loft driver.

Best bang for the buck course IMO is Newlands in Langley. $40 with cart peak season weekends.

I'm going to play the executive course there today. Quick and cheap, 11 holes for $15 wkdy / $20 wknd also with a cart. Perfect for beginners and you can pull out the driver on a couple holes if you are one. If it's dead and you're sneaky you can go from the 10th back to the 2nd and play 20 Not that I would ever do that

Edit: Executive greens are in rough shape so far.

Played 20 holes, shot 17 over. 0 birdies

Got my new driver and won the long drive this week The shaft almost perfectly fits my swing, as well as the ball I play.

Played Canal. 45 front, 50 back due to excessive beer drinking.

Windy as hell too, but I love that course.

Anybody know where I can buy a lightweight or small carry bag with stand or sunday golf bag under $100? Don't need to carry all my irons.
Also, where do I buy a rain cover for golf bags?

Golftown has a decent PING sunday carry bag for $38.88. I've seen some Winners locations in the past sell Titleist sunday bags for $40 as well but have not seen any lately.

So I won a round for 2 at the Okanagan Golf Club (The Bear or The Quail course - $115/person). I have no means of getting up there. Does anyone wanna trade with other golf gift certs for Westwood, other local courses or maybe even a driver? PM me.
