Good bubble tea in Vancouver Area? Anyone have suggestions for some bubble tea places to visit? Already been to Dragonball, The four on 41st and Arbutus (Oasis, Cabin, Cute Pearl and Orange Corner). Also been to Bubbleworld on Kingsway and Robson. Is there anything I missed, lol? |

CAPTAIN HAPPY BUBBLE |
Do a search, everyone has already agreed that Captain Happy Bubble is the best place ever. They have one location on kingsway and one on #3 road. Look for the pink sign you can't miss it. |

Captain Happy is good just drive up and down no.3 and you should see it better than dragonball:) |
"Good" is relative. It's like asking what's a good car? What kind of environment are you looking for? Dragonball is my favourite because I like their BBT especially the Green Tea Ice cream. and I don't know any other place that serves that. But that place is small and no room to sit and hang out and the food is very mediocre. Also, the price is good. The BubbleWorld on kingsway near safeway is not bad. But the one near metrotown is always packed. And it can become annoying if that is not your kind of thing. Personally I don't like places that serve you bbt in a random sized glass cup. Where you can have a drink and then see your friend with a cup that is possibly bigger (or smaller?) and you end up paying like $4 - $5 for mediocre bbt. But in general, those type of places are the places big enough to acutally have people sitting down to hang out, and they actually serve real food. I don't actually like pearls in my drink. But for most that do order the pearls along with their BBT, people have given me comments about which place has the best tasting starch balls. Some have said Tapioca Express. But that's in Richmond. And btw, tapioca express gives you little and charge you a lot. So personally I think that place is a ripoff. |
Ya also have been to the one on 41st and Granville, not really a fan on that one. Best iv'e tried so far is Orange Corner, but I might check out the Captains Place sometime. |
there's a very good one....big bubbles, tastes good, and a big straw to suck up the bubbles too. WHere's that place...hm....oh ya, it's UNDER MY TABLE BITCH. |
