Fucking Clown. I know the guy who owns the car lot supposedly knows DICK all about cars too so he probably told him it needs the 10k km break in period. Not sure where he got the idea of getting ignition parts and a "chip" and will be over 200hp though. Fucking tard! Anyways yeah, its probably the same car as I have not seen in there in a while now. I can guarantee he got ripped so badly cause they were asking like $6500 for it and its a stock S4 GX. He musta installed the K&N filter himself and the mufflers.
That S4 RX that was for sale in parksville got stolen from that lot right by the bridge. was it a 2+2?......

is that way the fuck off or do I just not know anything about 2g rx7's... | it would take an lot of work, to get 220HP out of an N/A 13B.
it could be done , however it would need to rev to about 10 000rpm . |

Wrong assumption. What do you think nitrous is for? Anyways its already been done. They have made a race only PP NA for 240hp @ 9500rpm. Forgot the site and there was a load of shit done to it. Far from streetable.

Err.. Other than nitrous fastam is correct. Unless it has extensive mods done to it then its more likely than not just a stock car. BTW Ty, C + PP PLEASE |

those hp numbers are not too difficult to achieve. with a little home made street porting, full exhaust, intake and mani, you could get some pretty decent numbers. Rotaries are very appreciative of heavier breathing as long as you provide sufficient spark and fuel.

Do any of you guys know anything about U.S salvage titles and if i was to import a car would it have to be inspected (probably) and is it possible to insure it if it carries the title.

yeah but i believe it is a bit of work.. you need to change the front bumper out and stuff.. we have higher safety ratings or sumpthing.. u can find them cheep enough around here though..
and 220hp in a n/a isnt really gonna happen unless you bridge it.. then its a crazy n/a and nobody around here drives that on the street..

mmmm that would be if the car was just getting imported but this one has a salvage title on it. I'm thinking you cant insure them over here.

Isn't hard to obtain from an NA rotary? It takes precision tuning to get that much power without being on the bottle. Anything short of a bridgeport would do. BTW I'm referring to RWHP since theres really no accurate and CONVIENENT way to measure FWHP.
PS: Darren's b2200 had Mark's old bridgeported motor in it and it was streetable for awhile 'til Darren gave up on it

Forgot the site and there was a load of shit done to it. Far from streetable. | Hate to burst your bubble but a very moderately bridge-ported 12A (1.1 liter) has been known to make 246 RWHP and be daily driven, a 12A with large streetport, Webber 48 carb and full exhaust can make just over 200 RWHP; neither of these cars rev'd past 8,000. So I'm thinking a 13B with the later model (S5?) high compression rotors and coverted to a 4-port from the stock 6-port could easily put those numbers down, without exceeding 8,000 RPM and probably with a decent amount of driveability. Although the car would probably require a standalone ECU and some very good tuning, also keep in mind that he could have been on a very optimistic dyno; as could all of the numbers I posted.
Cheers,
Grant
P.S. Don't even get me started on the turbo-bridgeported 12As, mental.

P.S. Don't even get me started on the turbo-bridgeported 12As, mental. | i would really like to see that dyno . since well all know that Torque x RPM / 5252= HP. a N/A 12A (NA also mean no N20) would have to put down about 160lb-ft at the wheels in order to produce 240whp with only 8000rpm to work with . provided it can breath up top . bridgeporting would give you the breathing capablity though.

Keep in mind that car gets about 8-12 MPG so it's breathing pretty damn well. Also considering that it is a daily driver that car would have to have a decent amount of torque, assuming the torque wasn't all really high in the powerband. I do know that most serious bridges idle at about 1600 RPM and will buck and shudder under 3500, so this car probably isn't that hardcore.

Tyler, what are your days off next week? If I take my black car over to Van it'll be either Mon or Teus. Hopeing for Teus, I'll call you tonight and tell ya the details. The guy agreed to pay one way for me whether he buys the car or not so I figure its worth a shot to take it over there. He does seem pretty interested so might as well try. Wish me luck guys.
In other news, I have about 1-1.5 weeks left until I find out my license situation. I will post when I get the letter. Lets hope for some good news.
later

I doubt 246rwhp for a streetable NA. Every stage of port shifts powerband further and further up, creating that sort of power is a huge task to undergo. BTW with a turbocharged engine, the SKY is the limit.
On to bigger and better things, I HAVE FULL POLYURETHANE BUSHINGS INSTALLED!! PWN all your 13+ year old bushings!
