Best haircut for under $50

Looking for a good men's barber/stylist in DT or Vancity. Need a place to be able to give a good, fashion forward but still appropriate for work haircut.

So please list the barber, location, what you paid and your rating of the barber.

Much appreciated.

Just been used to going to the neighborhood barber for $10 haircuts so I have no idea what would look good. :haha:

You guys make it sound like it's hard to find a good haircut for less than $20 or something. Does that even include a wash?

I consider myself pretty picky for haircuts, but I don't have to pay more than $10 for a haircut to the lady who cuts mine. Maybe it's my style. I don't have honger/anime character hair.

A&T on Victoria, across the street from Nancy Wonton house.

it is hard to find a haircut for less than $20 if you're looking for a longer haircut. anyone can cut a borderline decent short haircut.

Armind 01-24-2009 08:48 AM

I will glady shave your head for $50 :)

Who was the stylest you saw?

micbain 01-26-2009 09:40 AM

bump... c'mon!

disagree about the short hair. Depending on the persons hair it can be difficult not to get lines when cutting the sides.

The way my hair grows a lot of people still leave lines. Doesnt matter if i pay 10$ or 50$ Still happens.

Go to InRed on hastings and willingdon (i think?) and ask for Julie. 40$$ for mens, she is a good stylist for cheap.

x2krazi3 01-27-2009 03:23 PM

can anyone recomend me a good salon at crystal mall?

muteki 01-27-2009 03:43 PM

Chura Hair Salon - Miyuki.
Good service and very friendly people. =D
Japanese Salon so, if you're looking for Asian styles, they have tons of magazines.

Talked to my buddy Tim Kuo. He's a professional and currently located on W.Broadway named Markus J Hair and Wellbeing. Placed first at the 2007 Men's Hair cutting competition in Vancouver and is currently competing in other competitions to showcase his designs. A few guys have been to him from RS and they keep going back and bringing more friends. Ask them, he does a great job.

Tell him Bryan sent you for a good deal

It depends on what you want done. There is no set price but it will probably be under $50. Just call him up and ask. Mention my name if you can please :)

Sweet...I'll give this one a try. So just say Bryan? He only has one Bryan friend? Or shall I say Bryan with a "y"?
