^agreed. Everyone responds differently to each racquet. You need to find the racquet that suits you.

Sportchek has the blx pro open strung for $150

2013 BUMP!

What a great win by Novak last night! Are you guys ready and prepped for the 2013 season of tennis.

I just picked up a Head Graphene Speed Pro and Youtek IG Speed MP, both Novak's racquets. All strung with Babolat blast rpms at 57lbs. Any new gear for you guys this year?
Any tournaments anyone hitting?

The firework delay in this years Australian Open final is unprofessional. Who schedules fireworks during a Grand Slam?

-hoping to see a five set match between defending champ Djokovic and Murray. That would be an epic men's final.

My favorite Federer had a chance to get into the Aussie Open final only if he defeated Tsonga in straight sets. That five set match against the Frenchman really hurt Roger's chances to win this Grand Slam. -would have been difficult to him to win two five set matches back to back.

Reviving this thread, man Wimbledon this year was fuckeddd.

On another note, wasn't there a thread about tennis meetups? Looking for new people to play with, intermediate level preferred!

I'm free to play most days. I'm between a 3.0 and 3.5 but my serve is a 2.0, so I mostly just rally lol

The Sharapova v. De Brito match was hilarious. The world #1 loudest grunter vs world #2 loudest grunter lol.

One of the funniest shit I've read all week!

From Twitter:
Quote:
@UnlawfulExile: BREAKING: Scotland's Andy Murray loses the first two sets, but England's Andy Murray comes back to win the following three sets.

PM me your # if you want to hit. I'm free to hit in most places but prefer to keep it in Richmond/Vancouver or maybe Delta.

I'm about a 3.5-4.0 with a good consistent serve and am considered a pretty good rally partner for levels 3.0 and above!

Who's watching the Rogers Cup semi-final between Raonic and Pospisil? -should be a good match of two big servers. Bring the Rogers Cup to Canada!

Anyone ever use any websites to buy tennis rackets? If so, which sites and how was it? The only site I had heard of was tennis-warehouse but I have never had experiences with them.
