FYI, Circa is closed down. I called Indulge Living and they will be issuing refunds!

Not surprised!
Had my girlfriend's birthday there in mid April with 20+ ppl.

Service was bad with only 1 waitress serving us in the upstairs lounge area plus another group of 12 beside us. The food came out 30 minutes after we ordered (e.g. meatballs were hard and cold). Told the manager to wait til everyone finishes their dinner to bring out the cake so I can surprise my significant other with flowers and a present. Guess what the cake came out collapsed and everyone was still working on their plates.

Voiced my concern to the manager and all he could do is shrug his shoulders. E-mailed owner the next day on their website and got no response.

Gold figure they are closed now.

Would never recommend this place to anyone!

Looking at the big picture of things, I am not surprised they folded. I knew from the start they were doomed to fail the day they opened.

With such a large restaurant, the only way it would have been possible for them to be sustainable was to ensure that they were always busy on a consistent basis. Being in smack in the middle of the Granville Entertainment District, this was a poor business decision. I am simply speculating but given a combination of the grand cost of lease, poor service and lack of volume (customers) their closure was nothing out of the norm. They had 2 or 3 years to turn a profit but it was evident they couldn't hold their ground.

Indulge Living is currently working to process full refunds because Circa Restaurant & Lounge has closed their doors. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. The following are 2 options for receiving your refund:

1) Receive $64 (bonus $4) in credit on your Indulge Living account to use for future deals
2) Obtain a refund of $60 on your PayPal account

Please email us which option works best for you and we will process the refunds in a timely manner.
