How did you come up with your username?

I'll start off with mine. "jeedee" stands for my initials of "GD"

So how did you come up with your username? And what's the meaning of it?

When I first started modemming (in 1987, on my C-64), I was going to school as an audio engineer, and so named myself "Soundman". Once I got into the chats, that got shortened by others to "Soundy" (and Soundie, and SoundyEE, and various other iterations). I've used that ever since.

Ha I started BBSing around 1992 or 93.. your name/history reminds me of a fellow BBSer on the island named TubeMan. He was hardcore into tube amps which I don't think got their trendy resurgence yet at the time.
