The Quote I got from UPS(560$+tax) Fedex(700$+tax)

And for trucking companies door to door varies from (400-700$ +tax)

I was very fortunate to find Canadian Freightways. They have a depot in toronto and burnaby! With the option of dropping and picking the package at the depot the price was slash drastically.
I paid 260$ tax in with 1500$ value insured.

TBH i was scared the package was gonna be damage with the way it was packed that why i insured it.haha

Luckily it was fine and the ETA was spot on 7days via train

LOL. Moron tries to carjack a ghost car.

Quote:
SURREY (NEWS 1130) – Surrey Mounties have arrested a man for apparently trying to car jack an RCMP ghost car in Newton last night.

It happened at around 6 p.m. in the area of 71st Avenue and 135th Street. Two officers inside the vehicle identified themselves as police when the suspect tried to drag one of them out of the car.

“This had the potential to be a frightening incident and we are thankful that our officers were in the right place at the right time to take this person into custody,” says Corporal Scotty Schumann. “The suspect got the ride he wanted, but probably not to the location he was hoping for.”

The 25-year-old from Penticton was already wanted on an outstanding warrant. He is now facing the possibility of robbery and breach of probation charges.

Wonder what kind of car it was. Everyone can spot an unmarked Crown Vic or Expedition from a mile away but recently I saw someone get pulled over by an unmarked Mazda 6. I couldn't tell until the lights came on.

I've seen silver dodge caravans with those stick family stickers, rangers with N signs, mazda 6's, altimas, and even a volvo s40 lol - they are stealth as fuck.

Now everytime I see a slightly suspicious looking car I look for the glow of their computer screens

I've pretty much given up on my lawn. I look after it with a passion only to have it dug up by some god forsaken creature that comes by in the middle of the night. I am seriously thinking of going artificial turf. Anyone on RS have recommendations on reputable companies they've dealt with? Pretty sure it's going to cost an arm and a leg. Better than me bringing out the crossbow or setting up traps.

so i've been tasked with being the brain for this year's xmas office party

i got roughly 15 people in my department, pretty much all middle-aged people, a couple of lawyers and a couple of directors

someone suggested bowling at Italian cultural centre but i'd rather not
booking a room at a restaurant is also an option but i've got no idea of what's a good restaurant for this

any suggestion for places that would entertain 15 people along with food and maybe activities? preferably in Vancouver but Burnaby might work too.

the other day in cloverdale i saw a cop with a base model f150 that had a canopy with ladders on the top. it honestly looked like a tradesman's truck, had no visible lights on it anywhere. it had those ghost lights behind the tinted windows in the rear and on the front visors. cops are so stealthy.

few years back i remember the delta pd having a base model white honda ridgeline. that one really got me because thats something you wouldnt even think of them having.

UPS being a huge fuck-up.

If it wasn't bad enough for us with brokerage fee's, what if UPS failed to deliver your package, then claimed you didn't want it so they go behind your back and sell the fucking thing.

UPS is the shittiest shipping company you could ever deal with. I absolutely refuse to deal with them in any way.

15 people is quite a small party. My suggestion. Host the party at your office if its possible. This way you guys can go as late as you want. Order catering service and bring alchohol. Rent a karaoke machine, you will be surprise how much people loosen up after some drinks. Photobooth is also an excellent is also fun for the guest and makes for good bonding experience. I have done small office parties like this with success. Here comes the shameless plug, contact me if you need any help with equipment rental or vendors.

Does anyone know of a good tailor in Surrey?

I want someone to modify my relaxed fit jeans to something more of a bootcut/slim cut.
