Sometimes we tend to be in despair when the person we love leaves us, but the truth is, it's not our loss, but theirs, for they left the only person who couldn't give up on them.
Make the effort and take the risk..

Yea that connors day meet was pretty sweet!
Nothing special happened in my life this year but I did get a ride in my friends evolution, which I thought was pretty neat!

I adopted a dog this year, after 27 years of wanting one.
Saw my favourite band, Refused reunite after 14 years, and got to see them twice. (I bet 90% of people on here will be like "what the fuck" but whatever.
Whistler cruise with the VW audi guys was tons of fun
40+ days of snowboarding last season was pretty damn good too.
And I got engaged. Great year. This is only my personal excitements, so I don't really know if anyone cares, but hey, shit is good, so I thought I'd share.
I met some pretty sweet people, and at year's end, met some awesome people.
Glad I bought my car, allowed me to meet a lot of great people, showed me some serious community work with the whole richmond subaru bullshit and taught me the mechanical side of things on more then just Subaru's. If I hadn't bought the car, I'd be soullessly completing my 9-5 job and wondering what I did wrong 10 years down the line.
had an epic start to the year on Dec 31/ Jan 1st
had the best day dedicated to me in March
went to vegas for the first time ever
got a job offer to launch me into my dream career

surprised that so many RS members were willing to lend a hand for me to borrow a 14mm socket and help lower my car in the middle of the night.

You RS stalked me I feel special now.
I used to own it I sold it, I didnt buy it to mod it. Civics are not cars you mod, waste of money and time. Butthurt honda fans yep. I own a 240sx now, something worth while to invest money in. And i did sell it for school, which by the way was for automotive tech.
Best part of 2012? The st0ck & n00b meets. They were a lot of fun and we'll want to be doing them again in 2013. They were 0% BS and it was great to meet a lot of new folks out there. Go find a post of bcrdukes and hit the THANKS button.
Biggest regret of 2012? Trying to put rules on the "Fucked Up Shit" thread. The amount of hate I got for that one made me regret being born. Sorry folks. I briefly fucked up the fucked up shit.

Got my N after having an L for almost 4 years because i got my car on the road. Spent a ton of money on building an engine and my car. Got in a few concerts like Motorhead, Kiss, Metalica and a few others. Did some Hiking, camping, offroading, Road trips and some placer mining.
Meet some pretty cool guys at some of the meets i started to attend this year and got to see some nice cars, even got some compliments about my old gray 80s hatch :P
Worked my ass off and bought a second car (Black on black) that was a one owner. Sat for 9 years not running and had electrical problems and now it runs and drives quite well but needs a little more tuning.
Also found out that i am going to be a Big Brother this March! I dont care if i get a brother or a 3rd sister... I am going to teach them how to wrench
Oh also can thank again Nabs for the awesome photo of my car. Nicest photo i have of my baby (link below) http://sphotos-b.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...49961769_n.jpg

After being without a toy for a couple years, I finally bought a motorcycle again, and it so happens to be my dream bike, and got it for a steal after being contacted out of the blue to buy it when I thought it was gone.
My busiest year for acting; booked 4 commercials, a couple features and TV shows, won a best actor award for a local film contest, and went to New York with the film.
Film didn't win, but half way through my trip I met a girl, and we fell in love. That was in September, and I'm finally getting to go back; we've kept in touch, and I will be ringing in the New Year with her in NYC

New job, new career path, parents moved 2000 kms away and taking custody of my niece to add another kid to the equation. It's been a big year, lots of changes.

Anything else (personal: work/life etc etc) has been fantastic. Really can't complain!
