okay, so Russki, I'm curious: why did you not just ask your friend if she knew and was okay with it? I mean, I've had friends who made questionable choices and I was like "uh, are you sure you wanna do that?" and they've either stuck with it and regretted it or been right or...whatever.
Also, I don't really get your big complaint about the tire sizes. I mean, unless you've got an AWD car it's not that important to completely and exactly match tire profiles. If you're staggering it's actually very difficult and you'll almost always end up just a teensy bit out. Is it not possible that those tires aren't available in that size? Or that their supplier is out of stock? Or that there was some other reason they didn't use them?
When people tell me they're doing something and it seems odd, I ask questions, then ask 'are you okay with that?' and then go from there. I mean, it's her money and shit. Why freak out about it?

- online stores pop up everywhere now. dont need an address when other companies now offer drop shipment.
- are they an official or non official dealer? comes down to weather they can get direct from tsw, from a distributor, or from yet another dealer. just comes down to % off per handler.
- what was the original oem size, what was the aftermarket size? wasnt mentioned, cant help
- friend made the decision, then regretted it. at that point, you have 2 choices, give up the deposit, or take delivery and try to resell. simple.
- way too many of these (if i come onto RS and complain, i can rally support and leverage some action from the company! all i gotta do is tell a conservative truth and ppl wont notice!)
i commend the OP for trying to help, but sorry, it ended up being fuel to the fire rather than water....
