Review: neezmowheels.com+voice recording

A friend of mine decided to upgrade her car a little bit with some visual "mods"and asked me to help her out a little bit with the shopping and decisions.
She bought some rims from neezmowheels,i didn't go with her since i didn't have time, from what i see its a local company, but does not state an address.

She ordered TSW 5 spoke 18x8 and 18x9.5 for W203 C230 Kopressor

When i asked she mentioned the total was 2300$ which i consider a little high, but again its not my money i was just curious what she was getting billed for and the type and size of the tires.

After trying to get a hold of someone from the company for 2 day she gets a reply with the sizes which are 225/40/18 and 255/40/18 which the diameter is a little off compared to stock 225/45/17 all around.

So i decided to stop by the place and ask about the quote and specs on tires and rims.
Someone answered the phone saying they reached neezmowheels but didn't state their name, anyways after getting on the "same page" i start asking about the quote and mentioned it was a little high,he replied that the price was way cheaper then stated on the website and i wont find any other place in town that will mount, balance and install the rims and tires for that package.
my second question was what type of tires were being mounted he said that they were Triangle made by Yokohama,i asked if they were the tr968?
The reply was that he didn't know,so i said that they are the cheaper/cheapest tires on the market(currently mounted on my spares, would not recommend, but that's my opinion)he started mentioned how she asked for the cheaper tires and down the road she will upgrade to better one and the conversation went down the hill from there.
I kept asking that i wanted to stop by and take a look at the rims,he replied that the deposit was put down 500$ and that there is no way out and they had to be bought.
After i mentioned that those were not a good brand tire, the response i got was that he did not care about my opinion and i wasn't his customer,i asked why he had a attitude and start raising his voice, from that moment on ,all i heard was f$%k you B$%ch and other hand full of insults and he hanged up the phone.

I called back 1 minute later trying to put in a word in the conversation(if you can call that one)and ask why i am getting this kind of response but all i heard was @#$@ @#$2 @#$23 ^$#%^# @#$@# and he hanged up again.

I called again but no answer.

4th time i called from a different number and without even saying a word i heard insults again,i did manage to say that i will write a review and this phone call is recorded. The response again was,he did not care what i will do neither cared to talk to me period(there was more insults and swear words but this is a nice way of putting what he said)

The 5th time i called i wanted to meet up with him and talk to him why he was so rude and discuss what options there is for this circumstance ,he replied that he would break my face and beat the shit out of me:badpokerface: at that point i had a smile my face and was confused at the same time why this conversation went from asking the specs of the rims and tires to hearing threats.

This is the 6th phone call

:suspicious:

neezmowheels,if you are reading this why do you respond to customers this way even if they didn't buy anything from you?

Presto 03-22-2013 07:04 PM

why did you keep calling?

BlueSedanRUS 03-22-2013 07:09 PM

For the lulz factor?

edit: I woulda probably kept calling cuz no matter what that is pretty freaking un-professional of them. It's pretty obvious that they took advantage of your friend and are now backpedaling because someone who knows their shit is poking his nose in their business.

How did she pay for her deposit? If by chance she used her CC then request a chargeback and call it a day.

bballguy 03-22-2013 07:46 PM

Why didn't your friend just wait for when you did have time to go with her? She got fucked and she really only has herself to blame for this....If you don't know what you are doing, you be patient, and wait until someone you trust gets the time to help you. Yes, this shop is clearly fucked up, but it should not be assumed in the first place that you can trust them...

corollagtSr5 03-22-2013 07:54 PM

LOL its a local number. looks like paypal or creditcard. Just chargeback. He's at a birthday party. Come on man, obviously keep calling and texting the number.

Recon604 03-22-2013 08:59 PM

You should add subtitles.

?uestlove 03-22-2013 09:26 PM

sounds like neezmowheels was so pissed he had to talk to you through a megaphone

So the guy's basically a TSW wheel resaler and people actually go to him?

Madre de dios.

BlueSedanRUS 03-23-2013 02:19 AM

The problem with the deposit is that it was cash and the only receipt is via e-mail,which is not professional since the cash was given in person and a receipt should of been printed out..:okay:

bballguy 03-23-2013 08:26 AM

Fail all around; your friend is an idiot.

Happy 03-23-2013 08:55 AM

lol the website is so terribly done. no company address on the website.. seems legit

fliptuner 03-23-2013 09:02 AM

How does one even come to decide they want to make a $2300 purchase from a company with a site like that?
:fulloffuck:

Like did she not shop around at all?

The part where you say she asked you for help, then went ahead and bought wheels from them is pretty frustrating. I hate it when people ask for advice, get logical answers from people in the know, then do whatever they want anyways - it's such a waste of time and energy.

expensive lesson.
never pay in cash when u are dealing with a large sub-total.
unless its private or you know the person.

when making large payments always look up their reviews etc.
doing your homework will get you good grades ;)

JaPoola 03-23-2013 12:09 PM

OP is an idiot and so is his friend.

GLOW 03-23-2013 12:38 PM

she going to cut her losses and treat it like a $500 lesson?

fliptuner 03-23-2013 01:07 PM

I actually thought about that... giving up the deposit.

On one hand the company still profits and the OP/friend would have to find another set of wheels/tires for $1800, just to break even.

On the other hand, the company gets stuck with that exact wheel and tire combo and the tire's already been mounted so they can't return it to TSW. They basically have to wait til someone wants that style wheel in that exact bp and offset. Then hope someone that doesn't know any better, buys the tires.

what if they placed an order but the wheels werent shipped out?
then they just hav to pay restock fee.

I know when i purchase things at work and if the client turns their back away, im still able to return the product back to the supplier. Only thing i have to fork out is shipping.

not sure if wheels work the same
