was at a wedding at a resort called the west coast wilderness lodge on the weekend located up in Edgemont. heres a few pics from the balcony/skookumchuck.

my balcony view

down the road, 10 minute walk, theres a trail to hike to view the skookumchuck. I've heard about it before, never thought it was as fast moving and rough as i saw it. i watched a fishing boat struggle to go against it while staying in a straight line.

hard to see, i only had my phone as a camera...but in the middle is was basically a whirl pool...looked almost like someone pulled a drain plug right underneath it

not sure if i ever put this one up before. but if not, this ones from a while ago, maybe end of january'ish. went to the top of stave lake where theres enough room for just one camp site. its around 30km in from dewdney. overlooking stave lake. theres an ever so sexy stewie standing in the picture

Wedgemount, Sep 12-13 2015

3 panoramas from this weekend.

Wedge Glacier's retreated by about 30 meters since this time, last year.

Trail to the paintball field, it rained yesterday quite heavily. Fun with just 2WD/LSD and some Hemi power.

^ I see you picked yourself up a ram!!!

How do you like it so far

Did you get a 2500 or 3500?

Fuel range seems kinda low for that much fuel... Mine shows around 600 at that 3/4 level

1500 Black Sport Edition! Pre-blacked out from the factory.

My fuel mileage is terrible because of super short commute + super steep hills in my area. Also I had been doing a lot of gravel/dirt recently, as well as hauling a bunch of stuff for community projects. I'm averaging 18L/100KM for in-town-ish driving. When I go highway it gets lots better, around 12L/100KM.

Loaded up with 8ft 2x4's (about 1200-1300lbs) and 3 guys, we climbed a forestry/fire road to the top of the local mountain to store supplies for the mountain biking club.

^ looks sweet dude!

Did you get the Air suspension option? Or is that just the two by fours weighing your bed down

Personally I'm not a fan of blacking out the hemi/ram 1500 emblems, I was gonna black those out too but think I'm just gonna debadge the ram 1500 and keep the hemi chrome/red

Is that a roll n lock tonneau?

No air suspension on mine, just a heavy load haha. I didn't really want the air suspension because I thought it might be a source of future problems. The black on black on black looks really menacing in person, I thought I was done with owning dark colored vehicles but this truck has got real presence in person. The hemi red badge is still there so its not all black on the side. The front grille still has the chrome strips so not too monotone up front either.

It's a hard quad folding tonneau cover that I got at the dealership, Mopar-branded. So far so good it hasn't leaked yet! In the north people don't like the roll n locks because they can freeze on you in the winter.
