Outdoor Photos Thread

Now that the forum is the "4x4s and the great outdoors" we can start posting about our beloved 4x4's and the great places that they take us. It may inspire others on RS to pick up a 4x4 whether it be a truck or an suv and get on out there to do some hiking or fishing or camping or shooting, etc...

Here's a few of my outdoor photos.

technically they are not road legal since they are not approved by DOT if i recall correctly.

im not sure about this model but most of them just bolt to the hubs like a regular tire so you could probably swap them on and off at the trail head with your stock tires.

Any more info on that? Sounds like fun, I keep hearing about it but no one to go with and i dont like traveling alone offroad

Back of Harrison with my best friend

Flexing the stock suspension hahaha

There is an old jeep crushed under those rocks and a bunch of stacked logs next to it that are tied together like it use to be a bridge. Water was too fast and deep to get to the other side and investigate Need to try and find that place again.

Heading out this morning, in fact... I expect to be at the Furry Creek FSR turnoff for about 10, if you can make it, you're welcome to join Just look for the black stock YJ with bcjeepclub.ca stickers. Another group is meeting at Westview Mall at 11:30 to join us up there.

If you're not on bcjeepclub.ca, you should be (you drive an XJ, so you qualify... barely ) - there's a group going up Britannia almost every weekend. Last weekend a good-sized group went up Elaho Valley, and the weekend before that we did a "Newby Run" up to Hale Creek with a total of 33 rigs.

just remember,

when travelling alone, if it seems like a bad idea, probably is lol.

east harrison should be tame enough for you to wander around without any problems. invite some lady friends and bring up a 6 pack and yer set.
