I remember watching this on VHS fansub a long time ago and almost forgot about it and then I stumbled across this... There is a live action TV series being made in Japan based on the original coming soon:

same here. the article mentions that they have changed all the character names, and there is only an SV2 now... still, with a budget in the millions i am optimistically hopeful.

They may have been collectible once along with my macross toys but sometime ago a bottle of some sort of adhesive spilled in my box and melted some of the plastic parts :/ i'ld have to dig them out for pics
