Trader Joe's

Great finds and product discussion.

I go to the Bellingham location often, but there are so many cool things on the shelves that I want to try out.

On my recent road trip to LA/So Cal/San Fran, I visited a few locations, including their original store in Monrovia. I was surprised to find out that each region has its own suppliers and stuff in their So Cal locations are not the same as stuff in let's say the Pacific Northwest.

Anyway, a few of my all time favourites...........

Tea Tree Tingle shampoo (careful not to get it one parts below the belt, lol)

Ginger Chunk cookies (just came out)
"Just the Clusters" Ginger Almond and Cashew granola cereal (just for dad)
Maple Pecan Clusters cereal (kids' favourite)
Organic Corn Chip Dippers
Cold Brew Coffee
Organic Ketchup (no fricken high fructose shit)

Horseradish (seasonal)

And the best ginger ale I've ever had.............. unfortunately, there was a recall on them - this is after I bought one bottle to try out. Day later there was a recall on the product because the bottles were self destructing, lol. Damn was it ever good. Ginger ale, not their ginger beer, which is also very good, btw.

Anyway post your favourites in this thread.

And no, I will not be a pack mule for RS. Don't go sending me requests. I don't love you guys that much. Hee hee, hue hue, pew pew........

exceptions: Saucywoman, lilaznviper, murd0c (for sending me pics of his ex gf), Frip, and maybe Lomac, but he lives in the middle of buttflick nowhere.

A co-worker told me to buy the stuffed pasta and salad dressing from Trader Joe's. He says that his favorite dressing is that sesame soy vinaigrette, Trader's Ming's.

He also recommended Trader Guiseppe salad dressing.

I laughed when he mentioned to me those names of the salad dressings.

Thanks for being an exception MG1 except I have Nexus and go down all the time.. Sounds like I could be your mule if needed hahaha

That being said the green dragon sauce is fricken wicked and a must have when you go down.

another store I just found about is Winco in Bellingham... Kinda like Costco but no membership needed but just as good and even better deals

Grocery Supermarket | E Bellis Fair Pkwy ? Bellingham, Washington

I saw those on the shelf and had to do a double-take, lol.

I will have to try the Ming's.

Almost as funny as the Pirate Joe's here in Vancouver.

I swear, if anyone is going to open up the first Trader Joe's in Canada, it's going to be me.

In my younger days, hot sauces were no problem. Now, it basically causes all kinds of unpleasant issues.

Speaking of hot sauces, I was at Art Knapp's Plantland in Surrey/Whiterock charging the EV and came across their "Wall of Flame". Wow, if I had some of that stuff, my anus, not uranus, would be one fire - ring of fire, lol.

Everything about that place is uber cool. From their state of the art communications system (ringing of ship bells) to their Frearless Flyer.

It's all about the "African smoke" spice mill. Fucking amazing, bought it to try. Of course two years later I've never seen it back in since

These are crack. I'm normally not a fan of potato chips let alone plain ones, but these ones hit home.

Good thing our monopoly money is making a bit of a comeback. Next week's shopping in Bellingham is going to be more than the usual shit from Winco, Costco, and TJ.

How can Jones Soda in Bellingham be half the price than what it is here where it is made!?!

Was down at TJ's a while back, and I picked up a box of these:

Article | Trader Joe's

The missus has been casually eating these when I decided to try some myself. Then OMG... the next thing I knew, 1/2 the tub was gone, and the missus wasn't at all impressed with what happened to "her" chocolatey cats cookies.

when I first saw those, I was like, oh pet food at Trader Joe's, lol. Then I saw the shape of the cookies.

What happened to their grapefruit juice? Went there a couple weeks ago and it wasn't on the shelves. I hope they didn't discontinue it.

They're so rich that after a couple, you feel like you should stop.

But then if you're a fatass like me, you don't.
