heh, had a slow day at work so I disabled the speed/rev govenors on 2 golf carts and we had some races. Good fun, theyre surprisingly fast when un-govorned, plus when doing a burnout or slide, they dont cut out when the wheels begin to spin too fast.

I guess all the excess revving and stuff was making them run SUPER rich tho, we burned almost a full tank of gas (what usually lasts a week) in under an hour, plus they began to backfire like crazy. It sounded like fuckin shotguns going off. They were INSANELY loud, as loud as ive ever heard a car backfire. One backfired near some ppl, it scared the shit out of me and them.

and i defended my title as golf cart drift king :D

Crazy man, a lunatic took a person hostage 10 mins from my house. Cops, special task guys, helicoptors, the whole nine yards. Not a sight you see very often in Salmon Arm. It started at noon and its still going on, fuckin unmarked cop cars EVERYWHERE. Sooo intense, i have a few friends who live near there too. Weird to think there jsut chillin and drinking meanwhile a armed nutjob is holding ppl hostage a block away. haha, an i cant even go over, its blocked off :(

Man the fuel filter was easy, took about 10 mins, right behind the IM. My old one was intencly clogged, it was hard to blow through and weighed about 3 times as much as the new one.

I noticed an instant difference in how fast it started up and the car seems to idel and run smoother. Not bad for a 30 dollar filter.

Well there's already a fire started in the hills of Kamloops... saw it on our way back into Rayleigh. Above Kamloops Lake... way out by Tranquille, it looks like. Hard to tell in the dark. Heard lots of choppers today overhead, too... it's starting to sound familiar around here.
