The Roads are a total mess, especially residential areas, hillside drive was closed, semi jack knifed and slid off the road... radios are advising ppl to not drive city roads let alone travle.... so be careful out there ppl ^_^ supposed to get better tho... just a matter of when i guess

Had about 7 inches of snow on my car this morning...
and that Anti Viral stuff tastes like total ass. Got it in the liquid form, plug the nose and take it down. haha. But hey, it works pretty good so far so oh well.

People are whiny pussies. If I can make it around town (inlcluding some unplowed side streets) in my lowered Prelude, I don't see why anyone else with winter tires can't make it. Hell, one guy in my class has all seasons on his F-250 and he's making it just fine...

i love driving in this kind of weather - cruisin up juniper hill with ease while the shoulders are lined with cars that couldn't make it. just wish i had some wheels.

Yah they shut down ouc at 1:30 but my prof gave us the chance to stay, needless to say i stayed, make a good impression on the first day.

Exactly... I almost got ran off the road from some woman in a new Chev HD diesel... i was right beside her on springfield and she decided to change lanes. needless to say i had to slam on the brakes and pull into the bicycle lane.:2finger:

i don't think women are any worse drivers than men honestly, i just think that because of stereotypes like this, when someone screws up driving, and you notice that they are female, you subconciously pay more attention to that than if it were a male, and i think females and males do this. Just my opinion, cause as often that i see bad drivers that are woman, i come in contact with bad drivers that are men. And to kinda comment on the "women are meant to be child bearers, and men supporters......" comment, i'm kinda confused as to why this was brought in to the rant, but i'll bring up the famous Plato diaglogue "Equality for Women".......perhaps genders are predisposed in this way, but what does that have to do with their abilities to perform jobs just as well as a man, NOTHING!

9 out of 10 women when losing control of her car in the snow will slam on the brakes, close her eyes, start screaming, and probably let go of the steering wheel. and crash into the ditch. and most likely never drive again. 1 in 10 women would stay in control

5 in 10 men would stay calm and regain control. 2 in 10 men would bust out a fatty drift and make it look like he ment to do it. 1 in 10 men would be so drunk hed head for the ditch anyway, just so he could get out and walk home. and the other 1 in 10 men carry a purse anyway so really, he should be classified under woman.

so realistically 10 in 11 women cant drive. and 8 in 9 men can drive.

the stats are made up though.........oh grrr, i could argue this till i'm blue in the face, personally i've never been in an accident caused by me (a woman) or any other woman, i have however been in several accidents caused by men, and i think boys on here know EXACTLY what i'm talking about, so perhaps my viewpoint is biased in that sense. Show me some real stats where it proves that this statement of women being worse drivers is true and i'll have to agree with you, but until then, ignorance is bliss..........for both sides i suppose.

That is not true. Every single friggen day of this damn snow everywhere I go my car always fishtails, and I manage to CORRECT it WITHOUT hitting ANYTHING, or taking my hands off the wheel. All I do is let up on the gas and turn the wheel opposite of what my car is doing. I may fish tail back and forth for a couple of time, but NEVER do my hands leave the wheel. thank you very much, lol..
